I still haven’t told you anything yet.
“C-Conner…I don’t…feel…so good…-winces- Do me a favor and…keep me here?” Wally chuckled, wanting this situation to be less real. To pretend this wasn’t happening.
But it was.
“Ah…no don’t don’t!” His hand slipped through and he reached out to grab Conner again and again but he kept slipping through, phasing through, disappearing. Soon he wasn’t feeling at all. “Conner, don’t let me go!”
And he saw the Super reach for him. But it wasn’t working. Why wasn’t it working?! Maybe they weren’t trying hard enoug—
Conner’s hand lost its grip on him.
“D-Dude…why are you-?! No..no..noooo..oo…” He began to fade in and out, suddenly feeling everything and nothing. He could feel himself fall apart and gather again by sheer will. This was tearing him apart. He reached out for Conner, wanting now more than every to reach out to touch the symbol that he stood for. Wanting him to save him!
But he kept slipping, fading away.
Tears fell from his eyes - he couldn’t tell really, he was starting to loose the feeling in his face and vision - and he tried yelling again. But there was nothing coming from his lips.
Just like that his life flashed before him, mocking him, taking everything away from him.
His vision darkened just as Conner reached out for him again, even as he was miles away.
